Independence from Government Bodies: While TrueVoter.in was previously engaged by the State Election Commission (SEC), Maharashtra, to provide services directly to the Commission, this platform is currently operating as an independent, private service provider. We are not directly affiliated with, funded by, or currently under contract with SEC Maharashtra for this specific direct-to-candidate module.

Utility & Usage: Just as businesses and Chartered Accountants utilize third-party software like "Tally" to ensure accurate financial reporting and Income Tax compliance, TrueVoter.in is designed to assist candidates in managing their election expenditure with precision.

• Optional Service: This is a paid, optional tool for candidates who value accuracy and efficiency.
• Compliance: The software assists in generating expenditure reports in the standardized formats required by the election authorities, minimizing errors and administrative burden.

Submission Protocol: Please note that entering data on TrueVoter.in does not constitute a legal filing. Users must generate the reports from this software, obtain hard copies (printouts), and submit them physically to the respective Election Expenditure Department or Returning Officer (RO) to fulfill their statutory obligations.
